Fabio Tavares otherwise known as Fabinho is a Brazillian professional soccer player who plays the position of the defensive midfielder for Liverpool football club of the English Premier League (EPL). He started his professional career with the Portuguese side of Rio Ave of the Primeira Liga. His unique style of play has led him to play for the Spanish giants Real Madrid as well as the Monaco football club of France with which he won the Ligue 1 championship title in 2017. Fabinho Biography
The talented footballer was born Fabio Henrique Tavares in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He first came into this world on October 23, 1993, and was born to Brazilian Joao Roberto Tavares and his wife Rosangela Tavares. He possesses Brazilian nationality and belongs to the white ethnicity. Fabinho hasn’t shared many details regarding his childhood, family, siblings, and educational history with the media. Professional Career
Fabinho began his professional career in 2010 when he joined the Brazilian side Fluminense Football Club. While he was there, he didn’t get much playing time and after two seasons, he left the club. He joined the Portuguese club Rio Ave in 2012, penning down a six-year contract with the club. However, one month into his career, he was loaned to Real Madrid Castilla. Making his professional debut for the team in April 2013; Fabinho scored his first goal against CD Numancia. He also played for the main Real Madrid team in May 2013 before he was sent on loan to AS Monaco of France.
Fabinho completed his first season at Monaco and re-signed with the club for another year in 2014. After his second season, the defensive midfielder signed a four-year deal with Monaco until 2019. He led the team to win the French Ligue 1 title in 2017 and also helped them to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. Following his outstanding performance, Fabinho was recruited to the English Premier League by the Liverpool Football Club. He signed a long-term contract worth 39 million pounds with the Reds. He will be playing alongside Van Dijk in the 2018/2019 season.

He was part of the 23-man squad that participated in the Copa America held in Chile in 2015.
