Gunilla Hutton was born as Gunilla Wiklund in Gothenburg, Vastra Gotland’s Lan Sweden on May 15, 1944. She was born to Swedish and American parents. However, nothing much is known about her parents whom Gutton has not talked about to the media. She was being raised in Sweden before her family relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in the United States where she attended Arlington Heights High School. She developed an interest in theatre while was very young and participated in various shows organized by her school including Match Game, Family Feud, and Password. After her graduation, the charming actress began her career first as a singer and then as an actress.

The amazing actress began her professional career in 1960 when she appeared in the series titled Petticoat Junction. They first met at Cole’s music tour where Hutton earned a place in the chorus of Cole’s song titled Sights And Sounds. Cole was well-known for his soft voice and fascinating music style. Despite being married to a fellow Jazz singer named Maria at the time, Cole started having an affair with Hutton, whom he saw as the best woman in the world.

Furthermore, Cole wanted to divorce his wife Maria so he could make his relationship with Hutton official before he was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the spine. While he was on his sickbed, Cole tried his possible best to reach out to Hutton but all his efforts were futile because Maria had disconnected all his telephone lines. After the death of Cole, Hutton met a man named Allan L. Freeman who was a Pilot with the United States Air Force. The duo had a brief relationship before they sealed their love bond on January 10, 1970. Their love has blossomed for so many years and the couple was blessed with three children.
