The award-winning actor Michael Corbett Shannon was born in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States on August 7, 1974. He was raised by his parents Geraldine Hine who is a lawyer and Donald Shannon, an accounting professor at DePaul University.
Michael never had a good upbringing courtesy of his parent’s divorce, this affected him emotionally and he reportedly scattered the office of the psychiatrist whom he was sent to for therapy.
The talented star did not attend any drama school, yet, he was able to kick-start his career in Chicago where he lived with his dad. As a child, he dreamed of being a jazz musician or an architect.
