Micheline Roquebrune was born on April 4, 1929, in Edinburg, Scotland. Of Moroccan and French descent, Micheline mastered the French language when she was very young. Spanish was another language she learned before she later became conversant with the English language. Growing up, Micheline was very much drawn to sports; golf, to be precise. Young Roquebrune played in a lot of golf tournaments while she was still a teenager.
