He signed a four-year contract with Green Bay Packers when he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL. On May 7, 2015, the Green Bay Packers officially signed Brett Hundley to a year deal after he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the 147th overall pick. Hundley who was the backup quarterback got his chance during the first quarter of the week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings when he replaced Rodgers who suffered a broken collar injury. He then took over as the starter as a result of Rodgers’s injury.

Hundley was named Sun Bowl Co-MVP In 2013 and in 2014, he was also been named Second-team All-Pac-12. His overall performance in the 2017 season was impressive. He finished with 1,836 passing yards, nine touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 270 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns.

Hundley was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on August 29, 2018, for a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
