On May 7, 2015, the Green Bay Packers officially signed Brett Hundley to a year deal after he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the 147th overall pick. Hundley who was the backup quarterback got his chance during the first quarter of the week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings when he replaced Rodgers who suffered a broken collar injury. He then took over as the starter as a result of Rodgers’s injury.
