He was born E’Twaun Donte Moore on February 25, 1989, in East Chicago, Indiana. Moore attended Central High School where he recorded great achievements in playing B-ball which he naturally had a talent for. Etwaun’s senior season saw him record an impressive 21.2 points, and 5.5 rebounds on average. The NBA player led his school’s team to 2007’s Indiana High School Athletic Association 4A State Championship, where his skills earned him the Trester Award. After high school, E’Twaun Moore proceeded to Purdue University where his college basketball career began. Recording great points in his freshman season, he made his way to the Big Ten All-freshmen Team. Moore’s sophomore season saw him lead his school team to the 2009 NCAA Tournament. The following season, Moore led Purdue to claim the Big Ten Conference regular-season title which they had missed for 14 years. He subsequently signed a contract with the team in December that year. His stint with the Celtics saw him record a career-high 7 rebounds in a game against Miami Heat.

His next move was in 2012 to Orlando Magic. At Orlando Magic, E’Twaun Moore recorded impressive performances including a career-high 18 points against the Philadelphia 76ers. Moore moved to Chicago Bulls in September 2014 and played for two seasons., before moving to New Orleans Pelicans in July 2016.
