Will Ferrell’s Wife, Kids, Family And House

You bet we are delighted to be writing about Mr. Ferrell again, he is one of those comedians who only has to show up to make you crack a smile. Today we are going to meet the rest of the Ferrell clan, that includes Will Ferrell’s wife, his kids, and any other family we can dig up out there. So sit tight.

Will Ferrell’s Wife

Yes people, the funny guy gets the girl at the end of the day, so it’s not surprising to know that Will has been hitched since the year 2000. Her name is Viveca Paulin and she has appeared in several small parts in both film and television including one of her husband’s films, A Night At The Roxbury.

Her most recent TV appearance was in 2015, when she appeared in the first episode of  the show Younger, as Annika Bjornberg. These days, she is is an active member of the Los Angeles art community. She has made quite the name for herself in the art scene, as she was formerly an independent auctioneer for clients including Bonhams and Butterfield & Butterfield.

More recently she became an auctioneer at the Los Angeles Modern Auctions.

The two actually met before Will made it big, way before that. They dated briefly and separated amicably only to be reunited when Will was on hiatus from SNL. He found himself in LA and she invited him over for a beer. After a night of awkwardness and friendship, their budding romance sprouted.

On the topic, Will said, ‘ We started over—after a five-year friendship, we literally started courting each other.’ Since then it has evidently gotten even better.

Will Ferrell’s Kids

After the two said their vows in 2000, Will Ferrell’s wife and him went on to have 3 sons, with the pretty impressive viking names, Magnus, Mattias, and Axel.

Evidently Magnus Paulin Ferrell is the first of the trio and he was born on March 7, 2004 and he is 12 years old at the moment, then there’s Mattias Paulin Ferrell who was born on December 30, 2006, he’s presently 9, but in a few weeks that’s going to change and last but not least there’s the 6 year old, Axel Paulin Ferrell born on January 23, 2010.

The kids do not live a very public life, but we do catch a glimpse of them now and then. They were spotted with Will Ferrell’s wife and him at the premiere for Daddy’s Home, and also when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was a family affair as his wife and 3 sons were by his side.

Will Ferrell’s Family

His wife and kids are not the only family the actor has to boast of, there’s another part of his family you just need to learn about. Will’s parents are Roy Lee Ferrell and Betty Kay Overman and both of them are still living and breathing till date, but their marriage seems to have died somewhere along the road as they were married from 1964–1975.

Betty was a teacher and is currently 76 years old, while her ex was a musician and is 75.

Then there’s Will Ferrell’s brother, Patrick Ferrell, who also happens to be in the showbiz. He was born on May 17, 1970 as Patrick B. Ferrell. He is an actor and director, known for Elf (2003), The Other Guys (2010) and A Night at the Roxbury (1998). Well that sums up the rest of the Ferrell family.

Will Ferrell’s House

Despite the fact that Mr. Ferrell’s net worth is estimated to be around $85 million, he lives what some would call a modest life by celebrity standards. He owns two bi-coastal homes and is quite content with that, his East coast home is located in New York and his West coast home is in the city of Angels itself.

His elegantly designed New York home, which he shares with his wife and sons, was featured in Architectural Digest, and you know that does not come easy. The 2600 square foot apartment was once a printing shop and it’s thorough renovation took 3 whole years.

His L.A home on the other hand is a bit larger, and by a bit, we mean it’s over 4000 square feet. He purchased it from the popular talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, back in 2006 for $9,900,000. Besides the actual home itself, there are two additional buildings; a recreation building and the other is an outdoor living/dining room combination that is completely screened in.

It is very grand, elegant and tastefully designed.
