DeChambeau was born Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau on the 16th of September, 1993 in Modesto, California where he lived until the age of seven when his family moved to Fresno, California. It was during this time that he began playing the game of golf, attending Clovis East High School where he was a part of the school’s golf team. At the age of 16, in his sophomore year, DeChambeau got his first taste of victory by winning the California State Junior Championship.

Upon graduation from high school in 2012, Bryson DeChambeau accepted an athletic scholarship to attend Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. While majoring in physics, he competed for the school’s golf team and became the first person from the school to win the NCAA individual championship in June 2015. A few months later, he added the U.S. Amateur title to his collection and joined an elite list of players who have won both titles in the same year.

Following that success, DeChambeau opted to join the PGA Tour as an amateur, making his debut at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. He also played in that year’s U.S. Open but missed the cut by four strokes, and in the Australian Masters where he was tied for runner-up. In 2016, the golfer found out he was not going to be able to defend his NCAA title because his school had been banned from competing by the college athletic association. This prompted him to forgo his senior college season and turn professional in mid-April 2016.

After putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Cobra-Puma Golf brand, Bryson DeChambeau made his professional golf debut at the RBC Heritage where he finished in fourth place and took home over $250,000. He then played at the U.S. Open where he managed a tied for the fifteenth place finish to climb to 148 in the world ranking as he again, took home more than $150,000. DeChambeau then went on to get his first tournament victory at the DAP Championship which earned him a PGA Tour Card.

In his first year on the PGA Tour, the young golfer was able to beat off competition from Patrick Rodgers to win the John Deere Classic in July 2017. His next victory came about a year later at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio in June 2018 after he saw off Kyle Stanley and An Byeong-hun in a sudden-death playoff. Two months later, he won two more tournaments within the space of one week; first, The Northern Trust in late August 2018 and then, the Dell Technologies Championship in early September 2018.

Bertolami, who has a degree in Kinesiology and nutrition from Chapman University in Orange, California, is said to be currently pursuing a nursing degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to her studies, Bertolami also owns a bikini line that caters to busty women which she partnered with LA ISLA to create.
