He was declared missing along with his friend Chase Morland, who went hunting with him on 27 December 2015 during the winter storm Goliath. A few days later a search team was sent out and the two were found dead after their boat capsized during the winter storm in Oklahoma. Craig’s body was found on January 4th. The bodies were seen wearing their hunting uniforms. On her Instagram page, she described her husband’s last moment and said he died from a series of hypothermia that he suffered.
