Dorothy Diane “Dedee” Pfeiffer was born in Midway City, California on January 1, 1964. Although her parents were nowhere close to show business, Dedee was always inclined to entertainment, just like her older sister, legendary actress Michelle Pfeiffer.

Dedee Pfeiffer grew up wanting so much to become an actress. She sought various roles and did a lot of odd jobs in her search for greener pastures. She once worked at a mud-wrestling bar as a cocktail waitress. Her various odd jobs also include her dancing on a Disneyland parade and even dressing up as a monkey for entertainment purposes. In all this, her passion for the big screen remained intact and she never lost focus.

Dedee’s search yielded positive results in 1985 when she made her debut in the CBS series Simon & Simon. Her movie debut followed afterward with the film Into the Night; she starred alongside her sister Michelle in the comedy thriller which also starred Jeff Goldblum. Dedee Pfeiffer was so good in the role and consequently caught the attention of various filmmakers who put her in their movies.

Dedee Pfeiffer went on to land more roles in movies and series as well. She appeared in Vamp in 1986 and the following year, also starred in The Allnighter. Dedee did the unexpected in 1989 when she appeared nude in The Horror Show. In 2002, she repeated the same act but this time it was for a magazine; she went nude for the February 2002 edition of the Playboy Magazine.

In 1995, she starred as ‘Rachel Robbins Manning’ in the sitcom Cybill. It was her first main role in a series and she was undeniably quite remarkable. Dedee was born to Donna Pfeiffer and Richard Pfeiffer. As mentioned earlier, anyone who knows Dedee Pfeiffer well would also know that she is a younger sister to Michelle Pfeiffer, a renowned actress in the industry. She has two other siblings; her younger sister, Lori Pfeiffer who is also an actress, and an older brother, Rick Pfeiffer.
