Before he delved into acting, Pedro Pascal wanted to be a swimmer. As a child, he took so much interest in swimming that he got actively involved in competitive swimming and stunned observers with his skills. During this time, he competed in the state championships in Texas, when he was just 11 years old.

Pedro Pascal was in love with swimming, but he immediately stopped competing as a swimmer after he got into drama class and found out it was what he wanted to do. He later attended Orange County School of the Arts before heading to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he honed his skills as an actor.

Pascal kick-started his career in 1993 when he got cast to play Alex in Burning Bridges, a short film. One of Pedro Pascal’s biggest roles so far is the one he played in Game Of Thrones, the world-famous American fantasy drama television series.
