He functioned as the team’s leading receiver with 66 receptions for 740 yards and five touchdowns during his sophomore year in 2009 and bagged an All-Big 12 honorable mention.
In his junior season in 2010, he recorded 78 receptions for 952 yards and seven touchdowns which earned him second-team All-Big 12 selection. He participated in all 13 games during his senior season and recorded a total reception of 108 for 1,633 yards with 14 touchdowns, as a result, he bagged 1st Team All-American and All-Big 12.
His professional career started when he was picked by Tennessee Titans during the foremost 2012 NFL Draft as the 20th overall. The professional soccer player stayed with the Titans till the end of 2016 when he declared that he was not going to remain with the team for the 2017 seasons and on the 11th day of March 2017, he signed a contract of $4 million with the Chicago Bears for a period of one year.
